本局榮獲交通部103年度交通工程環境影響評估追蹤考核第2名及第3名報導 BOHSR Wined 2nd and 3rd Place in the 2014 Environment Impact Assessment of Transportation Engineering
環境考核獲獎合影。

交通部辦理之「103年度交通工程環境影響評估追蹤考核現場勘察計畫」,經於103年12月8日公布成績評定結果,本局及台灣高鐵公司辦理之「高鐵苗栗站興建工程」榮獲第2名,「高鐵彰化站興建工程」榮獲第3名,104年1月9日由葉部長於部務會報中頒發獎盃,以資鼓勵。(高速鐵路計畫環境影響評估案由本局與台灣高鐵公司併列開發單位)
高鐵苗栗站及彰化站本次能獲得獎項,主要是車站綠建築之規劃設計施工及工程本身對周遭環境的正面影響,即此二車站綠建築候選證書的等級都優於原環評承諾,彰化站達到黃金級,苗栗站更達到鑽石級的水準,其他如執行環境教育訓練及工地的環保工作優良,施工的環保團隊管理運作良好,並影響鄰近工區效法,深獲交通部環保小組委員的肯定。

The "HSR Miaoli Station Construction Project" and "HSR Changhua Station Construction Project", both authorized by BOHSR, won second and third place respectively in the "2014 Environment Impact On-site Assessment of Transportation Engineering" hosted by MOTC. The evaluation results were announced on Dec. 8, 2014 in MOTC No. 1035015572 document and was rewarded personally by the Minister Yeh on Jan. 9, 2015. (BOHSR and THSRC were both listed as development units in the assessment).
The evaluation indicated that both station constructions brought positive influence toward the surrounding environment and even impacted nearby construction sites to follow their environmental measures. Additionally, the nominated green building certifications of both stations were superior to the originally promised qualification level with Changhua Station nominated for gold level and Miaoli Station nominated for diamond level. Moreover, post environmental educational trainings and the onsite environmental work were carried out splendidly, thus the MOTC Environmental Task Force members were extremely satisfied with the environmental efforts that the construction team had implemented.
