機場捷運號誌及列車控制系統簡介 Introduction to the TIAA MRT Signaling and Train Control System
號誌系統STCS號誌及列車控制系統。

號誌及列車控制系統主要功能係為使列車依時刻表於機場捷運系統中安全運作及移動,並採用通訊式列車控制系統-功能加強版技術進行列車自動控制,可依列車實際位置、故障容許程度及功能性細分為以下5個主要系統。
一、中央ATS控制-提供全盤控管捷運的營運。
二、現地ATS控制-提供特定地理區域內依排定時刻表管控列車。
三、號誌聯鎖-提供特定地理區域內號誌機、轉轍器、列車偵測及其他道旁裝置之間的控制、監視及聯鎖。
四、道旁-號誌機、轉轍器、列車偵測、應答器及其他道旁裝置。
五、車載-提供列車運行的動態控制及車載系統監視。
系統功能及架構介紹:
一、中央自動列車監視系統控制:提供的設備,可讓營運人員監控列車營運,並利用編輯時刻表或手動路徑設定來修改列車運作,此外並將提供警報診斷資訊,由相關設備儲存及擷取資料給營運和技術人員。
二、中央自動列車監視系統控制設於青埔機廠,檢閱訓練室(PTR)設施則位於另棟大樓。
三、當中央自動列車監視系統無法使用時,PTR具有可提供手動切換以接管捷運控制的功能。
四、現地ATS控制:可提供列車於特定地理區間,依據時刻表進行自動路徑設定功能,包含機廠區域控制、主線及機廠間入/出口轉換區內則提供列車移動之時程控制功能。
五、號誌聯鎖:提供列車運行的安全保障,各號誌機、轉轍器、列車偵測及其他道旁設備之間的聯鎖是號誌聯鎖系統的主要部分,該聯鎖也可與ATP 系統的道旁設備進行通訊,以維持列車之間的安全間距。
六、道旁:當ATP系統故障,需以手動模式營運時,保護列車行駛於道岔區域並依據道旁固定號誌的指示行車,轉轍器操作與監視將由「號誌聯鎖」提供。除主要工場區及土建/軌道維修設施外,機廠區域也具備列車偵測功能。將提供鑰匙開閉式設施,供列車進入機廠維修工廠、土建和軌道維修區域。
七、車載裝置:使用TBS100設備,分為以下兩部分描述:
(一)ATP為速度的安全控制:經由專用無線電傳輸系統(RTS),接收來自聯鎖系統的CBTC-EP資訊。該資訊配合車速及位置感應器,用來確保列車保持在安全速度。
(二)ATO為列車自動駕駛:「車載ATO」系統透過RTS 與「現地ATS控制系統」通訊,使資料在中央及現地ATS控制系統之間往覆傳送。ATO 系統是透過與牽引及煞車系統的介接來駕駛列車。

The major function of the Signalling and Train Control System (STCS) is to ensure the operational safety of TIAA MRT and normal operation in correspondance to the train schedule. In addition, the Communication-based Train Control-Enhanced Performance (CBTC-EP) was adopted to achieve automatic control of the MRT system. The complete STCS consists of the following sub-systems which are introduced according to actual location of train, failure tolerance and functionality.
1. Central Automatic Train Supervision (CATS): provides overall operation control of the MRT system.
2. Local ATS: controls trains according to established train timetable in certain areas.
3. Signal Interlocking System: controls, monitors and interlocks signals, switch machines, train detection and other wayside facilities.
4. Wayside System: includes signals switch machines, train detection and other wayside facilities.
5. Train borne: provides dynamic control and on-board system monitoring of operating trains.
Functional and structural introductions:
1. CATS: assists operational staff to monitor train operation and allows revision of train operation via timetable editing or manual route changing. The system also provides diagnosis results of alarms and provides data to operational and technical personnel.
2. The CATS is installed in Chingpu Depot while the PTR facilities are located in another building.
3. When encountering malfunction of CATS, the control system can be manually switched to PTR.
4. Locial ATS: In specific areas, the system provides automatic route setting functions in correspondence to the timetable. Also, it provides train shifting schedule control in the depot area and the entrance/exit transition area from main line to depot.
5. Signal Interlocking System: the main part of the interlocking system includes signal machines, switches, train detectors and other wayside facilities. The system ensures operational safety and can communicate with wayside facilities in the ATP system to maintain safety distance between trians.
6. Wayside System: when the ATP system malfunctions and relies on manual control, the wayside system protects the trains when operating in turnout sections and instructs accordingly based on the wayside fixed signals while operation and supervision of the switch machine is provided by the signal interlocking system. In addition to the main workshop and civil engineering/rail maintenance facilities, the depot areas are also provided with train supervision function in which the trains can enter maintenance depot, civil engineering and rail maintenance sections via entrance key.
7. Train borne devices: adopts TBS100 equipment detailed as follows:
A:Automatic Train Protection (ATP): In coordination with the position sensor and train speed, the ATP system receives CBTC-EP information from the interlocking system via an exclusive RTS and controls the train to operate within speed limit.
B:Automatic Train Operation (ATO): The ATO system communicates with RTS and the local ATS system and transmits the data to and fro the central and local ATSs continually. The ATO system operates the train by mediating the traction and braking systems.
