For effective usage of local landscape, MOTC referred to Taipei MRT and transferred the space under the viaduct and greenbelt facilities that are not required for TIAA MRT operation to local governments for management, maintenance and effective use for local residents. Each road section in New Taipei City will be handled by relevant district offices. The section from Wenhua N. Rd to the junction of New Taipei City and Taoyuan will be taken over by Linkou District Office from Jul. 24, 2015. The section from Zhongxiao Bridge through Zhongxing Bridge to ShuHung E. Rd, excluding the "Zhongxing Bridge Cycling Track Improvement Project" (column P10-P14) which is managed by High Riverbank Construction Management Office of New Taipei City, will be taken over by Sanchung District Office from Aug. 1, 2015. As for sections in Xinzhuang District, management and maintenance will be assigned to Xinzhuang District Office by New Taipei City government.
The sections in Taoyuan City has been assigned to different units for maintenance based on the conclusion of three meetings held respectively on Mar. 4, Jul. 6 & 8 and Nov. 9, 2015. Taoyuan Metro Corp. will take over MRT operational-related facilities and surface drainage pipes along the tracks. Roads, median islands, MRT peripheral streetlights, pedestrian sidewalks, underground wells, culverts and other drainage facilities will be taken over by the Public Works Department. The plants on median islands will be managed by corresponding District Offices. The Xinjie River Landscape Trail and plantation on the north side of Chingpu Depot will be handled by Dayuan District Office. The road surface on the north side of A20 Station which is adjacent to residences will be handled by Zhongli District Office and the transfer has been completed projected by Dec. 20, 2015.
