機場捷運電聯車轉向架簡介 Introduction to the TIAA MRT EMU Bogie

機場捷運電聯車區分為普通車及直達車,每列車的轉向架全部均為動力轉向架,轉向架除本身之架框結構外, 裝置有牽引馬達,以提供牽引動力之來源,其它包括懸吊系統(一次懸吊橡膠彈簧圈、二次懸吊空氣彈簧)、輪軸、齒輪箱、撓性聯軸器、煞車系統、軸箱、輪緣潤滑器及集電器等裝置。
轉向架基本規格如后,軸距: 2,100mm、輪徑:850mm、齒輪比:2.79、最高設計速度:110公里/小時、最高營運速度:100公里/小時。

The EMU bogie is an apparatus that supports the vehicle weight and guides its operation. Aside from the necessity of providing support, the purpose of the bogie is to provide stability, speed and comfort during safe operation.
The TIAA MRT EMUs, including commuter trains and express trains, are all equipped with power bogies. A bogie is made of the structural frames, traction motor that provides traction power, suspension system (including primary suspension of coil spring/rubber and secondary suspension of air spring), wheel and axle, gearbox, flexible coupling, braking system, axle box, flange lubricator, current collector, etc.
The basic specifications of the bogie are as follows, wheelbase: 2,100mm, wheel diameter: 850mm, gear ratio: 2.79, maximum design speed: 110 km/hr, maximum operation speed: 100 km/hr.
To cope with the alignment with a smaller radius of curvature, the TIAA MRT EMU adopted the bolster bogie in which the side bearing provide a smaller rotational resistance while running on curved tracks. The disadvantage of using a bolster bogie is that there are two bolsters for each car which increases car tare weight. Therefore, utilizing the interior of the bolster as the storage barrels of air suspension will reduce vehicle weight.
