The High Riverbank Construction Management Office (HRCMO) arranged a pedestrian walkway and bicycle track on the right bank of Erching flood discharge channel. In addition, HRCMO set a platform connecting TIAA MRT Sanchong Station (A2) and used the connecting corridor to connect to Taipei Metro Sanchong Station which will link the MRT, urban area and the outer embankment area to facilitate the use of pedestrians and bicycles by nearby residents. This concludes as the Additional Embankment-crossing Bridge Project.
To implement the project, HRCMO has submitted the application form, land usage project proposal and the construction & management proposal to BOHSR to apply for three TIAA MRT lots of land with a total of 297.75 square meters within Lot 356, Shuhong section, Sanchong District etc. As this project is within the scope of the construction of the building restriction area, BOHSR has evaluated the project and determined it to be technically feasible and would not directly endanger the facilities and operational safety of the TIAA MRT. Additionally, it is in line with Article 7 of the “Principle of Providing Government Public Property For Free Use” so BOHSR agreed to provide free use and signed a land use agreement in February 2015.
Subsequently, HRCMO would manage the land in accordance with the contract and the land usage project proposal and construction & management proposal that has been evaluated and approved. HRCMO would also be responsible for the construction, use and maintenance management of the facilities, maintain the quality and safety of the facilities and maintain the integrity of the land.
