機場捷運ME02標自動收費系統自開始營運通車至驗收合格期間,廠商應辦理設備及系統之日常維護及監督、指導營運單位每日操作,並負責所有設備及系統之維修保養,以維持自動收費系統之正常運行。為維持自動收費系統設備及系統正常運作,維修保養工作是必要的,而維修又可分為預防維修與故障維修2類。
預防維修包括日常檢查及定期保養,日常檢查以外觀檢查為主,預防維修時程則由維修人員參考工廠維護手冊,定期/定時執行設備保養工作,以達成設備低故障率之目標。故障維修是當設備發生故障停止運作時,需在車站內當場進行簡易維修工作,稱為線上維修,此作業可由站務員執行。若無法現場排除故障,相關模組需送回維修工廠以儀器檢查,稱為工廠維修,由工廠維修人員進行檢查及修復作業。
依維修作業內容不同,ME02標維修等級可分為A、B、C、D、E五個等級,各級人員依據維修定義及需求,執行各式各樣的維修工作,以降低維修人員負荷,縮短設備待修時間,維持系統設備效能。維修等級須搭配適當人員、模組材料及維修工具,始可進行簡易維修、預防維修或故障排除的工作。營運單位可利用保固服務提供的時數,作為加強營運單位維修人員線上訓練和吸取維修經驗之運用。
系統之穩定取決於設備正常,而設備正常則視平時預防保養工作是否確實,唯有依維修保養計畫及預防維修時程確實執行每一次保養工作,才能防範於未然,使系統及設備發揮應有之功能,確保營運順暢。

During the period from the commencement of operation to the acceptance of the TIAA MRT ME02 Tender Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System, the manufacturer shall handle the routine maintenance and supervision of the equipment and system, direct the daily operation of the operating unit and be responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and systems in order to maintain the normal operation of the AFC system. In order to maintain the AFC system equipment and the normal operation of the system, maintenance work is necessary. Maintenance can be divided into two categories, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
Preventive maintenance includes daily inspection and periodical maintenance. Daily inspection is mainly focused on the appearance of the equipment; as for the preventive maintenance schedule, it is carried out by the maintenance personnel referring to the factory maintenance manual and regularly / periodically performing the equipment maintenance work to achieve the goal of low failure rate of the equipment. On the other hand, corrective maintenance is when the equipment fails and stopped to operate, simple and immediate maintenance work on the spot at station needs to be carried out. This is also known as online maintenance which can be performed by the station staff. If the troubleshooting cannot be done on-site, relevant modules should be sent back to the maintenance factory to be inspected by examination instruments. This is known as factory maintenance, which is handled by maintenance personnel to conduct inspection and repair operations.
According to the contents of different maintenance operations, ME02 Tender maintenance level can be divided into A, B, C, D, E five levels. Maintenance personnel can base on maintenance definition and demands to implement a wide range of maintenance work to reduce maintenance personnel load, shorten repair time and maintain system equipment effectiveness. The maintenance level must be accompanied by suitable personnel, module materials and service tools for simple maintenance, preventive maintenance or troubleshooting. Operating units may use the warranty service hours provided by the contractor as a means of enhancing the online training and maintenance experience of service personnel.
The stability of the system depends on the normality and functionality of the equipment. Only certain preventive maintenance work can ensure the equipment in good condition. It is only by actually carrying out each maintenance operations according to the maintenance plan and the preventive maintenance schedule to prevent system from failure, to maintain proper function of the system and equipment and to ensure smooth operation.
