國內首創預辦登機及行李處理服務開放民眾使用 Taiwan’s First In-town Check-in and Baggage Handling Services are Open to the Public
旅客使用自助託運設備託運行李。

桃園機場捷運重要特色之一「市區預辦登機及行李託運服務」,自106年2月16日起,正式開放一般民眾使用,這是國內首創為機場捷運畫下另一個重要里程碑,也將是台灣繼首爾、曼谷、吉隆坡及香港後,亞洲第5個提供預辦登機服務的機場。開放初期由中華航空、長榮航空、華信航空、立榮航空等4家航空公司進駐,旅客可在台北車A1站辨理這項服務。
回顧本項服務之提供,行李處理設備工程(ME03標)之建置由本局捷工處辦理,自99年2月23日開工,至 104年6月25日實質完工止,歷經5年又4個月。交通部於104年8月19日核定改由桃機公司統籌辦理後,相關營運前準備作業更形積極展開,期間完成重要事項包括行李處理設備工程設備(施)點交、航空保安計畫擬定及核定、營運單位房舍點交及進駐、規章程序擬訂、自助託運設備建置及測試、報到劃位系統及自助報到櫃檯建置及測試、桃捷公司與桃捷公司租任契約與行李運送契約簽訂、報到櫃檯分配、模擬演練等,涉及權管單位計有桃園捷運公司、桃園機場公司、航警局、關務署、航聯會、航空公司、桃勤公司、國際航空電訊集團公司(SITA Information Networking Computing B.V. )、台北市政府捷運工程局、交通部航政司、民航局、中華電信公司、ME03標廠商新加坡德利國際有限公司(Pteris Global Limited)丸紅商社、捷工處及本局等,相關介面複雜,協調事項繁瑣且眾多,其中「機場捷運A1站預辦登機及行李處理專案小組」至今已召開41次會議。
而今在各單位積極溝通協調、通力合作、面對問題、解決問題、發揮團隊精神下,終於完成此艱難的任務,讓民眾更能享受到出國的便利與輕鬆。

Starting from Feb. 16, 2017, one of the important features of TIAA MRT System, the in-town check-in and baggage handling services, have been opened to the public. The system is the first in the country, marking a significant milestone in airport MRT history. Taiwan, following Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, will become Asia's fifth airport to provide such services. In the beginning of this service, there will be China Airlines, EVA Airways, Mandarin Airlines and UNI Airways stationed in Taipei Main Station (A1) for passengers to utilize this service.
Review of the process of this service, the engineering construction (ME03 Tender) of the baggage handling equipment was set up by the MRT Engineering Office of BOHSR since groundbreaking on Feb. 23, 2010. Completing on Jun. 25, 2015, the construction has gone through 5 years and 4 months. After Aug. 19, 2015 in which the MOTC approved for Taoyuan International Airport Corporation to take over to manage and execute the system, relevant pre-operational operations were more actively initiated. During the period, a series of important matters were completed, including handing over baggage handling engineering equipment (facilities), drafting and ratifying aviation security programs, transferring and stationing operational unit premises, setting regulations and procedures, setting and testing self-bagdrop equipment, setting and testing the check-in, seat allocation and self-check-in counters, contracting of rental and baggage transport contracts between Taoyuan Metro and Taoyuan Airport Corporation, allocating check-in counters, simulation exercises, etc. The units involving authority includes Taoyuan Metro, Taoyuan Airport Corporation, Aviation Police Bureau, Customs Administration, Airline Operators Committee, airline companies, Taoyuan International Airport Services Co., Ltd., SITA Information Networking Computing B.V., DORTS, Department of Navigation and Aviation, Civil Aeronautics Administration, Chunghwa Telecom, Pteris Global Limited of ME03 Tender, MKH J.B. Consortium, MRT Engineering Office and BOHSR. The interface is complex making coordinating issues cumbersome and numerous. The “TIAA MRT In-town Check-in and Baggage Handling in Taipei Main Station (A1) Task Force” has already held 41 meetings.
Now, with active communication, coordination, cooperation, facing and solving problems of various units and exerting team spirit, they finally completed this difficult task so that people can enjoy the convenience of traveling abroad.
